This contribution aims to present a condensed account of spontaneouslongitudinal observations, made during one year, of the mother-baby relationships,according to the Bick method. This method suggests the recording of these data,spontaneously, without the intervention of any theory about it or any interference of theobserver during the process. Construções e “garimpagens”: quais as possibilidades? / Constructions and “diggings”: what are the possibilities?

A autora, através do enfoque teórico-clínico, apresenta uma reflexão sobre o tema “Construções em Análise” instituído por Freud em 1937. Com essa finalidade, utilizase do termo “garimpagem”, entendido simbolicamente como a extração das riquezas naturais para o aproveitamento de substâncias minerais. Procura articular esses conceitos através das idéias de Bion. Sugere que esses conhecimentos surgem da apreensão do material durante a sessão, enriquecendo a compreensão do processo psicanalítico e catalisando-o para fins do desenvolvimento psíquico do paciente. The author, through a theoretic-clinical focus, presents a reflection on the theme “Constructions in Analysis” instituted by Freud in 1937. With this purpose, she utilizes the term “digging”, symbolically understood as an extraction of the natural richnesses for the utilization of mineral substances. She tries to articulate these concepts through Bion’s ideas. She suggests that this knowledge emerges from the apprehension of the material, during the session, improving the comprehension of the psychoanalytic process and catalyzing it toward the patient’s psychic development.
